Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 2026

GetSmartSaver.Uks is a personal finance comparison and guide site. To keep the site free to use and to cover the cost of researching and maintaining our content, we earn commissions from some of the providers we feature. This page explains how that works, which relationships we have, and how we keep our recommendations honest.

How We Earn Money

When you click a link on GetSmartSaver.Uks and go on to open an account, take out a product, or complete an action with one of our partners, we may receive a commission. This is called affiliate marketing, and it’s a standard revenue model across the UK personal finance media industry.

Crucially, using our links does not cost you anything extra. The commission comes out of the provider’s marketing budget, not your pocket. In many cases, signing up via our links actually unlocks an exclusive bonus or promotional rate that isn’t available going direct.

Which Links Are Affiliate Links?

Any link or button that takes you directly to a product provider’s sign-up or application page may be an affiliate link. On individual review articles, we always add an advertising disclosure at the top of the page so there’s no ambiguity.

Affiliate links are technically marked with rel="sponsored nofollow" in the HTML, following Google’s Webmaster Guidelines and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) requirements for UK consumer content.

Our Affiliate Partners

We currently work with the following affiliate networks and providers:

  • FinanceAds — including GoHenry and IUVO P2P
  • Other networks may be added over time and will be listed here when they go live

How We Choose What to Recommend

Editorial independence is non-negotiable. Here’s our promise:

  • We only write about products we believe are genuinely useful to UK savers and investors. If a product isn’t competitive, we either don’t cover it or we say so clearly.
  • Commission levels never determine our recommendations. Our “best pick” is based on rates, fees, features, and safety — not on which provider pays us the most.
  • We disclose risks honestly, including capital-at-risk products like peer-to-peer lending and investment platforms, even when doing so may reduce sign-ups.
  • We update our content when rates or features change, and we note when a previously-recommended provider is no longer competitive.

If you ever feel a review or guide on this site is misleading, biased, or out of date, please let us know and we’ll look into it.

Not Financial Advice

Everything on GetSmartSaver.Uks is for general information only. We are not financial advisers and nothing on this site constitutes regulated financial advice or a personal recommendation. Your circumstances are unique — always do your own research, read the provider’s own terms carefully, and consider speaking to a qualified adviser before making significant financial decisions.
